Verno — Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Verno account and everything stored against it. It is published separately from the Privacy Policy because Google Play requires the route to be reachable without installing the App.

1. Deleting From Inside the App

Open Verno, go to the Profile tab, scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account", then confirm. The deletion happens immediately.

2. Deleting Without the App

If you have already uninstalled Verno, or cannot sign in, email privacy@vernoapp.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.

3. What Gets Deleted

Deleting your account permanently erases your account record and sign-in credentials, every garden you saved and the location stored against it, your saved and analysed plants, your care schedules, care history and completed task logs, your notification settings and push tokens, and any feedback you submitted. This cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an account afterwards.

Scanned images are not in this list because we never stored them. Images are sent to Google Gemini for analysis and are discarded when the result is returned; Verno operates no image storage of any kind.

4. What We Cannot Delete

Your purchase and billing history is held by Google Play, not by us, and is governed by Google's own retention policy. Deleting your Verno account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel it in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, otherwise it will continue to renew.
